Hip Hop music, Has made a huge impact, On King Kupa's life. Although rap was not his first love, In music. At a very early age, This artist was mostly into, Classic Rock and Heavy Metal Music. Once King Kupa found Hip Hop, He quickly fell in love with the genre. Grew up listening to such Rap Artists as:

King Kupa was inspired by all of these artists, so he started writing rhymes. He did that for along time. Then in 2010, He decided to try his hand in hip hop. King Kupa had some close friends who were tied, into the rap scene in Edmonton. So he decided to start working on music with a local artist by the name of Sonik, at the helm of creating his beats and doing his mixing and production, Out of music box Studios. After 5 tracks created, King Kupa was going through compromising life situations, with the sudden passing of his best friend, and his personal battles with addiction. King Kupa decided to put the mic down and walk away after a serious overdose at the end of 2010. Since then he has never stopped writting and has never lost his love for rap music. In 2019, King Kupa decided to put everything he has, into learning the craft, and sharpening his skills. He has spent numerous hours of every single day, learning music theory, rhyme scenes, metaphors, similes, entendres, and wordplay. He study other artists writing, enunciations, inotation, flows, and delivery. He is now at the helm of his own, mixing, production, and mastering. He now continues to release new tracks, while being humble. His goal is to show improvement with each new track.
